"If Jesus had wanted for anything, a star in the sky, or a bird on the wing, or all of God's angels in heaven to sing, He surely could have had it, for he was the King."
For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.
Isaiah 9:6-7
And [Mary] gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.
Luke 2:7
Jesus didn't need to come with signs and wonders to gain the wonder and respect of humanity. He was already King. He is King. And this man who entered the world as a baby wrapped in a manger, who lived a life of wise counsel, who daily demonstrated his fatherly power and tenderness, who displayed the character of God wrapped in human flesh, who died for the sin of the world, was buried and then conquered sin and death by rising from the dead, this man is returning to rule and to reign over those who have trusted him. And there will be peace in this new Kingdom. And it will be an everlasting Kingdom.
Trust Christ.
Come, Lord Jesus.
